The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced its Deans' List/Honor Roll for the fall semester of the 2014-15 academic year.

The following students were named to the dean's list at Bates during the first semester of the 2014-2015 academic year -- a distinction earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.73 or higher.

Colby-Sawyer recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement during the 2014 fall semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Select students have been named to the Fall 2014 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Sponsored by the Hispanic-Latino Club, Cross Cultural Club, Student Activities and International and Diversity Initiatives, Colby-Sawyer College celebrated Latin American culture during International Education Week, Monday, Nov. 17, through Friday, Nov. 21.

At WPI, all undergraduates are required to complete a research-driven, professional-level project that applies science and technology to addresses an important societal need or issue. About two-thirds of students complete a project at one of the university's more than 40 off-campus project centers, which are located around the world.

Colby-Sawyer College (CSC) student orientation leaders assist new and transfer students as they transition into college life and discover opportunities at CSC.

New students have enrolled in Worcester Polytechnic Institute, one of the nation's first engineering and technology universities.

Internships are field experiences designed to provide a student learning opportunity under collaborative supervision between Colby-Sawyer College faculty, staff, and work site professionals. Internships offer the opportunity for students to enhance their academic programs with work experience related to career interests in all industry areas in national and international settings.

To be named to the Dean's List at Plymouth State, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the fall semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. These credit hours must be in courses that earn grade points and the student must have completed all such courses attempted.

Approximately 750 students were awarded degrees from Plymouth State University at their 143rd Commencement ceremony May 17, 2014.

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, NJ have been named to the Dean's and Honors Lists for the Spring 2014 semester.

To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the fall semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. These credit hours must be in courses that earn grade points and the student must have completed all such courses attempted.

The following local residents are among those to be named to the Roger Williams University Dean's List for the Spring 2014 semester. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

A total of 1,193 degrees (794 bachelor's degrees, 381 master's, and 18 PhDs) were awarded during the university's commencement ceremony on May 17, 2014, which took place outdoors on the WPI quadrangle. Additionally, 381 degrees were awarded earlier this academic year.

Springfield College Recognizes Dean's List Students for the 2014 Spring Semester.

Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the Spring 2014 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average(GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

Named in honor of the first president of WPI, this honor recognizes outstanding performance by first-year students. To be eligible for membership, students must achieve all A's and B's (with a minimum of six A's) in their academic subjects during their first three terms at WPI.
